We are looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer to join a global leader in digital payments, recognized for creating innovative experiences that make moving money, selling, and shopping simple, personalized, and secure. This opportunity involves working on industry-leading mobile applications, enabling commerce in approximately 200 markets. As a Staff Android Engineer, you will apply your technical expertise to develop high-quality mobile applications that impact millions of users worldwide.

Job Description:

As a Staff Android Engineer, you will:

* Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering Leaders to translate complex business requirements into actionable tasks for your team.
* Design, prototype, and implement features for our native apps using the latest Android technologies and frameworks.
* Prioritize quality and performance, ensuring an excellent user experience for a global user base.
* Mentor developers, fostering growth and technical excellence across the team and organization.

Required Skills:

* 8+ years of experience in mobile development for commercial global native apps.
* 5+ years of experience as a technical lead or architect in a mobile development team.
* Up-to-date, hands-on expertise in the latest Android technologies.
* Strong knowledge of multi-threaded, asynchronous code.
* Familiarity with design patterns like MVC and MVVM.
* B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree (MS preferred).
* A team player with a passion for collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Interest in the digital payments industry.

The company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on factors like work location, relevant skills, and experience. The total compensation includes a competitive base salary, annual performance bonus, equity, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Pay Range: The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $84,500 to $234,300.

Work Environment:

This role offers a balanced hybrid work model with three days in the office for in-person collaboration and two days of flexible workspace choice, whether at the office or from home.
