Awesung Inc. Logistics Group is a large comprehensive warehousing company that integrates cross-border e-commerce support services, international warehousing logistics, Amazon FBA, and drop-shipping. The company has six large warehouse centers located in Los Angeles, Savannah, Dallas, New Jersey, and four other states across the United States, with a total warehouse area exceeding 1.5 million square feet. Due to the needs of business development, we are now recruiting Operations Specialist, location options include Fontana, CA, Cranbury, NJ, Savannah, GA, and Houston, TX.

**Job Description:**
**Operational Leadership**:

* Lead and manage a team of Operations and Area Managers across inbound or outbound functions to ensure business goals are met and exceeded.
* Set clear performance expectations for the team, monitor key metrics, provide feedback, and take responsibility for the success of the department.
* Drive performance improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and customer experience.

**Process Improvement**:

* Lead Lean projects and process change initiatives to enhance operational performance and achieve strategic objectives.
* Leverage team insights to drive improvements across shifts and departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Ensure best practices are shared and applied across the fulfillment center network.

**People Management**:

* Oversee the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
* Mentor and coach Operations and Area Managers to develop leadership skills, driving employee engagement and retention.
* Build a strong talent pipeline within the fulfillment center to ensure a steady supply of future leaders.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

* Collaborate closely with support teams such as HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and IT to align resources and initiatives with operational needs.
* Act as a key liaison with senior leadership to support fulfillment center and company-wide projects.

**Safety and Compliance**:

* Take responsibility for maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to company safety standards and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
* Promote a culture of safety throughout the fulfillment center, driving continuous improvements in safety practices and initiatives.

**Physical Operations**:

* Perform tasks requiring physical labor, such as lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
* Regularly walk and stand for extended periods, covering an average of 3 miles per day in the warehouse.
* Ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and walkways as needed, ensuring safe access to all areas of the facility.

**Job Requirements:**

* Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
* 3+ years of direct management experience in a manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.
* Experience with performance metrics, Lean techniques, and process improvement.
* Experience managing the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
* Preferred experience managing a contingent workforce during peak periods.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams.
* Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in Lean principles and process improvement methodologies.
* Ability to make sound judgments and decisions under pressure.
* Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by business needs.
* Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting of heavy objects.
* Ability to work in various environments, including dark, unheated, and noisy conditions.
* Must be able to safely access all areas of the building, including climbing stairs and ladders.
* Open to Relocation

**Compensation and Benefits During Management Trainee Program:**
We have a comprehensive compensation system in place. During the internship period, the salary is **$5000 per month**. Upon conversion to full-time employment, the base salary will be **$70,000 per year**, depending on performance during the internship, along with monthly performance bonuses and other incentives.

**H1B Sponsorship for 2025 depends.**

**Management and Training:**
Upon being hired, you will undergo a 2-3 month internship at the assigned warehouse, under the guidance of the BP.

**Interview Process**
First Round: HR collects information.
Second Round: Interview with two Hiring Managers.
Third Round: Onsite interview.
