**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced **Workday Functional/Integration Consultant** to join our team supporting bank. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday functional configuration or integrations to assist in maintaining and optimizing the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with either Workday HCM/Recruiting/Compensation modules (Functional) or Workday integrations (Integration).
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, configure, and support Workday modules or integrations.
* Ensure the accurate configuration of business processes within the Workday platform to meet operational and organizational needs.
* Design and generate calculated fields, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), and custom reports.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday configuration or integration, ensuring seamless HR operations.
* Stay updated with Workday releases and enhancements, providing guidance on best practices and potential system improvements.
* Participate in planning and executing system upgrades and testing.
**Functional Role Requirements:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
* **4+ years** of experience with **Workday functional configuration** in **HCM/Recruiting/Compensation** modules.
* **3+ years** of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform.
* **2+ years** of experience with calculated fields, EIBs, and custom reports.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
* **5+ years** of experience with Workday functional configuration (HCM/Recruiting/Compensation).
* Workday or Workday Pro Certifications in **HCM, Recruiting,** or **Compensation**.
**Integration Role Requirements:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
* High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
* **4+ years** of experience with **Workday integrations** (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, XSLT, PECI).
* **1+ year** of experience configuring business processes within the Workday platform.
* **1+ year** of experience with calculated fields, EIBs, and custom reports.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
* **5+ years** of experience with Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, XSLT, PECI).
* **1+ year** of experience with Workday Orchestrate or Extend.
* Workday or Workday Pro Certifications in **Integrations** or **Extend**.
**Additional Requirements:**
* Must be willing to work onsite in **Plano, TX**, **Richmond, VA**, or **McLean, VA** (3 days onsite; 2 days remote).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
* **Local candidates** highly preferred.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $71.02 – $76.62 per hour
Experience:
* Workday integrations: 5 years (Required)
* Workday platform: 4 years (Preferred)
* calculated fields, EIBs, and custom reports: 1 year (Preferred)
