**Position Overview**
* Job Title: Telecom – Software Tester 3
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Engineering or Science degree.
* 0-2 years of working experience in QA handset/mobile testing or related telecommunications field is preferred

**Job Responsibilities**
* This individual will execute and validate Samsung internal QA test plans for Samsung Unlock devices
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
* Set up test plans to meet deadlines based on given request by project lead
* Responsible for performing functional tests related to Voice Call, Messaging and core telephony features
* Execute test plans and validate Mobile functionality on 4G/5G networks
* Document and track user equipment hardware or software defects using internal bug tracking system.
* Work closely with the technical leader and the project team to meet the timeline and expected level of quality
* Identify and tracks defects for the assigned testing scope
* Plan test schedule, devices, and tools, ensure proper test scope is covered.
**Skills and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Engineering or Science degree.
* 0-2 years of working experience in QA handset/mobile testing or related telecommunications field is preferred
* Solid understanding of product quality management and development lifecycles
* Previous experience with Mobile Testing is a plus
* Good communication (written and verbal), organizational and time management skills.
* Goal oriented, possess a sense of urgency and capable to work under pressure and also work independently with limited supervision
* Willing to work with team members inside/outside the department.
