Test Engineer (AASHTOWare)
Job Description
A Public Sector client of ours is looking for a Test Engineer (AASHTOWare) to work on their ongoing project in the Raleigh, NC office.

Required Skills:
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and experience clearly communicating with developers, product analyst, customers and managers
* Strong experience with automated testing tools and methods
* Ability to review and translate business user specifications/User Stories into Testcases
* Ability to clearly explain technical issues and processes to team members, software vendors and potentially other DOT’s, and manage testing support needed until issues are resolved or work-arounds are identified.
* Ability to work independently, managing own work task and deadlines, and coordinating team participation with others to complete testing assignments
* Ability to organize and manage a central repository of Test Cases, and ability to migrate existing MS Excel test documentation to a centralized tool
* experience working in a SCRUM software development and support team
* General knowledge of IT and software development best practices
* Familiarity with data models and ability to read them and research data relationships
* Knowledge of any of the following: MS Power Automate, SQL, C#, .NET, python, PowerShell, command line or similar, to automate task and make work more efficient.
* Strong experience using MS Azure DevOps, MS Teams, O365 applications, MS Office Suite applications, Visio, SharePoint, OneDrive
* General familiarity with change management processes in an enterprise, multi-stage environment (ServiceNow exp preferred or similar)
* Experience with Windows Server/Desktop maintenance including installing applications, analyzing application logs
* Cloud Services experience like AWS or Azure
* Ability to work well in a virtual team
