We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless experience from the moment they arrive to their departure. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires a blend of organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Duties

– Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, offering assistance with check-in and answering any questions they may have.
– Manage the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
– Respond promptly to phone calls and emails, handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
– Provide information and recommendations to guests about the hotel’s amenities and services.
– Maintain the front desk area, including answering the phone, handling mail and packages, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
– Collaborate with the rest of the hotel team to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service.
– Develop and implement strategies to increase guest satisfaction and drive repeat business.
– Train new staff members and provide ongoing support and development opportunities.
– Utilize hotel software, such as Raiser Edge, to manage guest information and stay organized.
– Participate in campus recruitment and volunteer management initiatives to promote the hotel’s brand and build relationships with the local community.

Qualifications

– High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality or a related field is an asset.
– Previous experience as a front desk agent or in a related customer service role is essential.
– Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
– Strong leadership and supervising abilities.
– Proficiency with sales and marketing software, such as Salesforce.
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– A passion for recruiting and developing talent.
– Experience with volunteer management and campus recruitment initiatives is highly desirable.
