Job Overview:

We are seeking a Workday Functional Consultant with a strong background in Workday HCM and Recruiting modules, along with experience in Workday reporting, data validation, and go-live/cutover activities. This is an onsite role based in Houston, TX, and all listed skills are 100% mandatory. The ideal candidate will have both functional and technical expertise in multiple Workday modules and will primarily support configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Workday processes on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and design client business processes in Workday Core HCM and Recruiting modules.

Provide end-user support for Workday configurations and processes.

Lead and participate in go-live/cutover activities during Workday migrations.

Validate data during data conversion processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Manage multiple ongoing projects while taking on new projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

Intake and prioritize enhancement requests, manage configuration, testing, and implementation.

Design and deliver process improvements using leading practices and methodologies.

Develop strategies for HCM transformation across people, processes, and technology.

Ensure HRIS compliance with data privacy and cyber security requirements.

Build and maintain effective controls and governance mechanisms.

Communicate and present solutions to all levels of staff and management effectively.

Mandatory Skills:

Workday HCM and Recruiting module configuration.

Workday reporting and data validation experience for migration, go-live, and cutover activities.

Excel proficiency: Experience with VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data validations.

Experience participating in at least one go-live/cutover event during a migration.

Strong ability to collaborate with corporate functions and third-party vendors to determine optimal process solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and facilitate discussions at all levels.
