**Youth Development Early Learning Center and Preschool**

**A Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a special education day program. Serving students with diagnoses of serious emotional disturbance (SED) and intellectual developmental disability (IDD), with a specific emphasis on cultural responsiveness. We offer a range of community based program services at links back to our clinic community based program In-Home Behavioral (IHB), In-Home Therapy (IHT), Therapeutic Mentoring (TM). We provide preventive care services that help families establish strong and stable foundations.**

**LOCATION:**

**Main office site is in Braintree and Randolph Direct Care staff based on the program they work in are designated to site and within the community would be required.**

**JOB SUMMARY:**

**Youth Development and Preschool Director Apprenticeship Internship is training for entry-level Education Administration Leadership, Education and Human Development and Early Childhood Education. This position is a training pathway for leadership in managing Education Youth Development and Preschool programs. The Apprentices are trained in the duties and responsibilities and to act as educational program director and will be responsible for day to day operations of centers, administrative and curriculum teams. This position requires assisting with the streamlining of students and families into the preschool and center programs, monitoring of a comprehensive quality assurance programming that is data-driven. Maintain day to day administrative operation of quality assurance Department of Education and Care coordination of preschool and centers community-based healthcare programs, compliance with funding resources, collecting data, monitoring compliance of companies’ policies, procedures, protocols, implementing strategic initiatives and analyzing benchmark key performance indicators. As team lead on assessing center programs needs and best practices. Ensure that all staff complies with policies & procedures for medical necessity and services specification. Coordinates with youth’s parents or caretakers to provide parent training and as part of a multidisciplinary team including both professional and paraprofessional staff. Also works with Master and Doctor level clinicians as part of a multidisciplinary team including both professional and paraprofessional staff. Assist with other related duties as directed by clinic programs Quality Assurance needs.**

**POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* **Assist the Executive Director in the overall development, implementation and, provide leadership in the development of continuum of care, and to operational management of centers**
* **Lead with monitors and maintaining training for employee development and conducting training Clinic Program Services level of care.**
* **Lead as a resource for assisting with implementing programs and organizational climate management.**
* **Lead for financial management of programs for youth ratios and census for each center program**
* **Lead for referrals and funding source coordination to ensure ratios of youth**
* **Assisting with the development of center program curriculums**
* **Part of rotating On-Call Supervisory Team**
* **Supervision of 3 clinical interns yearly**
* **Must have Cultural and Linguistic Competence**
* **Implemented strategic plan for growth of complies and operations for center programs**
* **Maintains and managements to streamline patients into center programs and ensuring direct care staff ratios and census for each center program**
* **Provides day to day program management oversight of staff in and maintaining policies, procedures, and protocols Center Programs**
* **Reviews all documented incident reporting from staff as part of supervision weekly**
* **Collect and maintain supervision weekly documentation as part of quality assurance compliance**
* **Implements programmatic provisions of ongoing best practices of policies, procedures**
* **Attends required professional meetings outside of clinic**
* **Instructs and supervises children in social and developmental activities and generally provides one-on-one attention when needed.**
* **Plans activities for program curriculums and helps organize the classroom and plan intellectual activities for children, per the lead teacher’s requests.**
* **Reviews with team Evaluation of children’s and youth social development and physical well-being and should be prepared to take on the role of lead teacher when needed.**
* **Coordinate lesson plans, activities to implement learning via level of experiential learning, tutor after school grade school academic, assistant in transition into school, vocational school or collage**
* **Provides coverage for center coordinators when needed**
* **Maintains activities plans and implements activities to meet the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of children in the program. Provides nutritious snacks and meals. Provides adequate equipment and activities. Ensures equipment and facilities are clean, well maintained, and safe at all times. Schedules weekly and monthly programs and activities. Develops activities that introduce math and literacy concepts.**
* **Supervises children in the program ensures children are always supervised. Establishes routines and provides positive guidance. Provides a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable. Implements positive discipline when required. Clearly and effectively communicates in a manner that children understand. Observe and make notes of children’s progress. Integrates special needs children in a positive and respectful manner.**
* **Communicates with parents and members of the community reports and discusses children’s development with parents. Discusses identified problems and needs with professionals.**
* **Maintains program administration keeps parents informed of program expectations, program activities and their child’s progress.**
* **Performs other duties as required.**

**SALARY & BENEFITS:**

* **Stipend $1000 per Month increase based on KIP monthly the hire after training**

**Full time $25-$37 per hour depending on experience**

* **Must however be willing to work some late afternoons and evenings until 8:15 pm, and some weekends.**

* **Education stipends with partnering colleges are available after one year of employment**
* **Possible H1B Visa sponsor After 365 days of hirer**

**Flexible Schedule; on call weekdays and weekends over phone**
