**Job Title:** Full Stack Developer
**Location:** 1030 Delta Boulevard Atlanta, GA 30354 (Hybrid)
**Duration:** 13+ Months with possible extension/conversion
**Job Description:**
**Candidate Needs to Have:**
* Several years of software development experience with recent hands-on experience working with AWS services in a developer role.
* Bias for action and capable of system-level thinking.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
* Self-learner with the ability to pickup new technologies and provide tangible results.
* 2-3 years of experience designing, developing, integrating, and running business, big data, and/or data science applications.
* 1-2+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS as a developer.
* Experience developing with Python 3.
* Experience developing Angular applications.
* Experience working with AWS services, with an emphasis on managed services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge, Step Functions, Aurora, S3, and API Gateway.
* Experience developing infrastructure-as-code using AWS tools (e.g., Cloud Development Kit, CloudFormation Templates).
* Experience with DevSecOps and automating application deployment, continuous delivery, and continuous integration (Git, GitLab, Jenkins).
* Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., VersionOne, JIRA).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Functional knowledge of the airline business or airline IT processes.
* BS/MS degree, preferably in a technical or scientific field.
* Attention to detail.
* Commitment to creating a safety-conscious environment that ensures employee safety and well-being.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Develop efficient software using Java, C#, Python, .Net, Spring Boot, Microservices, and APIs.
* Enhance and maintain on-premises and internal PAAS applications, transitioning these to AWS.
* Design and implement serverless patterns from containerized applications.
* Build industry-standard APIs, managing calls, connectivity protocols, and policy routing.
* Design, develop, and implement architecture patterns optimized for SLAs, reliability, and cost.
* Anticipate future consequences of immediate technical choices by considering upstream and downstream impacts.
* Foster a culture of software craftsmanship best practices, including TDD/BDD, test automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
* Drive performance improvements through monitoring, detailed metrics, problem identification, trend analysis, and cost optimization.
* Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance with privacy regulations early in development.
* Resolve and prevent technical debt proactively.
* Engage actively in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, aiming for continuous improvement.
* Collaborate frequently to share ideas and gain perspective, ensuring clear and timely communication.
* Initiate and lead code reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
* Create usable documentation and playbooks.
* Analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs and communicate these across the team.
* Optimize pace and meet deadlines.
* Administer product upgrades and patches.
