An onshore coordinator for Paapri Cloud Technologies will play a critical role in bridging the gap between the onshore team (In the United States) and the offshore development team (In Kolkata, India). Here’s a breakdown of the key responsibilities and roles:
1. **Client Communication:**
* **Primary Point of Contact:** The onshore coordinator serves as the main point of contact for the client, managing day-to-day communications, gathering requirements, and ensuring that the client’s expectations are met.
* **Requirement Gathering:** They work closely with the client to understand and document project requirements, ensuring they are clear and complete before relaying them to the offshore team.
2. **Project Management:**
* **Task Coordination:** The coordinator assigns tasks to the offshore team based on the project plan and ensures that these tasks align with the client’s needs.
* **Progress Monitoring:** They track the progress of the project, ensuring that deadlines are met and that the work produced meets quality standards.
* **Issue Resolution:** The onshore coordinator helps resolve any issues that arise, whether technical or related to misunderstandings, ensuring smooth collaboration between teams.
3. **Cultural and Time Zone Bridging:**
* **Cultural Mediation:** They help navigate cultural differences that might affect communication and collaboration, ensuring a harmonious working relationship between onshore and offshore teams.
* **Time Zone Management:** The coordinator manages the time zone differences, scheduling meetings and coordinating work hours to optimize productivity and communication.
4. **Quality Assurance:**
* **Code Review and Testing:** In some cases, the onshore coordinator may be involved in reviewing code, testing software, and ensuring that deliverables meet the client’s quality standards.
* **Feedback Loop:** They facilitate a feedback loop between the client and the offshore team, ensuring continuous improvement in the development process.
5. **Documentation and Reporting:**
* **Status Reporting:** The onshore coordinator regularly updates the client and stakeholders on the project’s status, highlighting any risks or issues that need attention.
* **Documentation:** They ensure that all project-related documents are up-to-date and accessible to both onshore and offshore teams.
6. **Stakeholder Management:**
* **Expectation Management:** They manage the expectations of all stakeholders, ensuring that the project stays on track in terms of scope, time, and budget.
* **Client Relationship Building:** The onshore coordinator works to build and maintain a strong relationship with the client, ensuring long-term partnership and trust.
7. **Technical and Domain Expertise:**

**Salary Range:**
* **Entry-Level (0-2 years of experience):** $50,000 – $65,000 per year
* **Mid-Level (3-5 years of experience):** $65,000 – $85,000 per year
* **Senior-Level (5+ years of experience):** $85,000 – $110,000+ per year
**Qualifications:**
1. **Educational Background:**
* **Bachelor’s Degree:** A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Business Administration is required.
* **Project Management Certification (Optional):** Certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) can be highly beneficial.
2. **Work Experience:**
* **Industry Experience:** At least 3-5 years of experience in software development, project management, or a related field. Experience working with offshore teams is often preferred.
* **Domain Knowledge:** Understanding the specific industry in which the company operates (e.g., finance, healthcare, e-commerce) can be advantageous.
3. **Technical Skills:**
* **Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC):** Knowledge of various development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and the ability to manage projects through different phases of SDLC.
* **Basic Technical Knowledge:** Familiarity with programming languages, frameworks, and tools used by the offshore team, though deep technical expertise is not always required.
* **Project Management Tools:** Proficiency in tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project for task management and tracking progress.

* **Strong Communication Skills:** The ability to clearly convey information between the client and offshore team, both in writing and verbally.
