This group owns a Java Application and it’s one of the few Java Applications that actually has a frontend. Home Price is the name of the application and model. A UI developer contractor from another company is not performing so we can replace him.

This team has built their own frontend and as such wants the resource to have design skills (more senior) and must be able to communicate well. Resource should be knowledgable and experienced with Microservices and API’s and how UIs or GUI’s work with them.

Java backend skills are desirable. SQL always a big plus but doesn’t have to be a guru. AWS services S3 and ECS are nice to have….. we would wangt some AWS experience.

Top 3 Technical Skills:

* Angular 10
* UI Design skills
* Microservices….interfaces to Microservices and API’s
* Java for backend and middle tier
* SQL
* AWS services (S3, ECS…)

Top 3 Soft Skills:

* Strong Communication skills
* Fast moving environment…. pick up things quickly
* ability to hunt down the right people for requirements and feedback, TENACIOUS

Top 3 Question:

* Highest Version of Angular you worked on?
* on a 1-10 scale, how experienced are you on it?
* Have you developed interfaces to Microservices?
* Have you ever designed or architected an entire UI Solution on Angular?

At a high level, the developer need Angular, JavaScript and Java experience. The developer would need Proof of Concept Experience as well as experience building production quality software in an agile environment.
