**Job Title**: Field Service Technician Level 2

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Location**: Headquarters in Dallas, TX. Employees can work remotely and travel to client sites or offices as needed.

**Job Summary**:

– AMAXST, a pioneering company in new energy storage solutions, is actively seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Field Service Technician to lead our large-scale energy storage projects. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring all project phases are executed flawlessly and according to stringent specifications. This position involves managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating closely with multiple teams to meet project timelines, ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld, and adapting project plans in response to field conditions and technological advancements. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in energy storage, robust project management skills, and a proactive approach to solving complex engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Responsibilities**:

– Act as the lead on advanced field engineering assignments, ensuring successful

completion of complex tasks.

– Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for AC and DC-coupled

battery storage systems and inverters, meeting milestones set with utility-scale clients.

– Oversee and execute preventive maintenance projects as required.

– Perform a variety of engineering assignments involving technology applications involved in the installation, operation, testing and maintenance of central and string inverters.

– Conduct electrical and electronic troubleshooting and testing of inverters and their

components, either on-site or in a lab environment.

– Provide feedback to the engineering team on possible mechanical and electrical design improvements.

– Direct and oversee project site operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance with all engineering specifications.

**Requirements**:

– High school diploma or higher, preferably in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.

– Strong ability to quickly learn specialized computer software and equipment, such as balancers. Excellent logical reasoning and comprehension skills to effectively tackle project challenges and adapt rapidly to new situations and technologies.

– Proven experience in project management and site supervision, preferably in the energy sector.

– High level of safety awareness and adherence to safety standards.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) and general computer usage.

– Capability to lift and maneuver objects weighing 40-50 pounds.

– Must be available for flexible hours to respond to client emergencies.

– Willingness to nationwide overnight travel 80% of the time and capability to travel by your own when needed.

– Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.

**Salary & Benefits:**

– Starting hourly wage of $28.00, with potential for increases based on performance and completion of qualifying exams.

– Reimbursed travel expenses, as defined by the company, and a daily allowance (per

diem).
