**Title**: ColdFusion Developer

**Work location**: Washington DC 20024(Remote possible with approval)

**Duration**: 5 years

**Term:** Fulltime

**Job Responsibilities**:

* Develop and maintain web applications using ColdFusion, including coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
* Integrate ColdFusion applications with Oracle database to store and retrieve data efficiently
* Develop user interfaces and user experiences (UI/UX) that are intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly
* Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize code, and implement caching mechanisms to improve application performance
* Implement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and cross-site request forgery (CSRF)
* Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage source code and collaborate with other developers effectively
* Create technical documentation, including design documents, code comments, and deployment guides, to facilitate maintenance and knowledge transfer
* Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests to ensure the quality and reliability of applications
* Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing ColdFusion applications and SQL Stored Procedures, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and implementing enhancements

**Requirements**:

* Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or other related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
* 10+ years’ experience in Adobe ColdFusion, including CFML (ColdFusion Markup Language), CFScript, and ColdFusion Administrator
* 10+ years’ experience with relational databases and SQL, including database design, optimization, and querying
* Preference shall be given to those with past experience in a Federal Agency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
