**Job Title: Oracle EBS Technical Developer**

**Location:** **New York City**

**Job Type:** **6+ months**

**Job Summary:**

* We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EBS Technical Developer with solid procurement experience to join our IT team.
* The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), particularly within the Procurement module.
* You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle EBS applications with a focus on procurement processes, ensuring that procurement systems are efficient, reliable, and tailored to our business needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Procurement Customization & Development:** Design, develop, and customize Oracle EBS Procurement applications, including Purchase Orders, Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Procurement Contracts. Utilize Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) to tailor solutions to procurement needs.
* **Technical Support:** Provide expert technical support for Oracle EBS Procurement modules, addressing and resolving issues related to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management, and procurement contracts.
* **Integration:** Develop and maintain seamless integration between Oracle EBS Procurement and other systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP web services, and other integration technologies.
* **Performance Tuning:** Analyze, optimize, and tune SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and application performance specifically within the procurement module to ensure high system efficiency and reliability.
* **Documentation:** Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to procurement processes, including design specifications, functional requirements, and user guides.
* **Testing & Quality Assurance:** Conduct unit testing and collaborate with QA teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of procurement-related customizations and solutions.
* **Collaboration:** Engage with procurement functional consultants, business users, and other stakeholders to understand and translate procurement requirements into effective technical solutions.
* **Upgrade & Patch Management:** Assist with Oracle EBS Procurement upgrades, patches, and maintenance to ensure the system remains stable and up-to-date with the latest Oracle releases.

**Qualifications:**

* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant Oracle EBS certifications with a focus on Procurement are highly desirable.
* **Experience:** Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Oracle EBS Technical Developer, with solid, hands-on experience in the Oracle EBS Procurement module
* **Skills:**
* Extensive experience with Oracle EBS Procurement modules, including Purchase Orders, Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Procurement Contracts.
* Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
* Proven experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and web services for system integration.
* In-depth understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, data models, and customization best practices specific to procurement.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour
