Overview:

Our client is seeking a Principal Software Engineer specializing in Front-End development to join their innovative team in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience with web-based frameworks and a passion for developing next-level ad products. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining tools that enhance ad trafficking, automation, and creative previews. You ll collaborate with various teams and drive technical solutions that deliver superior user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain tools for enhanced ad trafficking, automation, and creative previews.
* Build and debug ad products that serve across platforms, both online and in-store.
* Identify challenges and opportunities, translating business objectives into technical solutions for engineers and developers.
* Review implementations (code review, QA, etc.) and provide technical guidance for fixes.
* Serve as a subject matter expert in ad tech including SSPs, DMPs, DSPs, marketing clouds, ad servers, and measurement.
* Establish workflows across teams, assigning roles and responsibilities.
* Collaborate on cross-platform executions, executing independently when required.
* Document knowledge and processes, ensuring compliance with specifications.
* Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, producing high-quality, efficient, and testable code.

Required Qualifications:

* BS or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* 10+ years of front-end engineering experience with web-based frameworks including React.js, Angular, Next.js, GraphQL, and TypeScript.
* Strong understanding of web services, cookies, headers, and server-to-server communication.
* Experience writing and integrating APIs and GraphQL views, ideally in Java/Node.js.
* Expertise in web performance optimization and browser rendering performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Advertising ecosystem providers like Media Trust, MOAT, IAS, DoubleVerify, and self-serve ad tech platforms (Facebook, Adwords, GAM, etc.).
* Experience working in low-tolerance technical service environments supporting mobile or web-based products.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams, translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:

* Must be eligible for permanent work authorization.
