SharePoint Developer Consultant
Experience:
* 5 to 9 years of experience in developing and designing highly customized applications using SharePoint Online technologies.
* Extensive hands-on experience throughout the SharePoint application development lifecycle: planning, architecture, construction, implementation, packaging, and deployment.
* Expertise in SharePoint Online services framework, including search, managed metadata, user profile services, and Office 365 tools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and promote best practices, standards, and guidelines for architecting, managing, and utilizing SharePoint solutions.
* Lead SharePoint development using SharePoint Online, Office 365, Microsoft Flow, and Power Automate tools.
* Utilize SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for custom application creation.
* Develop solutions for urgent business challenges, leveraging existing tools or building custom applications as needed.
* Develop immersive and responsive user interfaces with HTML5, CSS, NodeJS, NPM, JavaScript, JQuery, and TypeScript.
Skills:
* SharePoint Development: Expertise in SharePoint Online, SPFx, and O365 tools.
* Application Development: Ability to develop custom applications using Microsoft technologies such as .NET.
* Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, NPM, JQuery, and TypeScript.
* Workflow Management: Skilled in Microsoft Flow, Power Automate, SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath Forms.
* Collaboration & Support: Collaborates with end users to develop, modify, and support SharePoint sites, workflows, and interfaces.
* Technical Documentation & Training: Responsible for developing technical solution documentation and training for end users.
* Problem-Solving & Innovation: Leverages existing tools and custom-built solutions to address business needs and challenges.
* Security & Best Practices: Adheres to application security, SDLC, and change management best practices.
* Tools & Technologies: Proficient in SharePoint Designer, Workflow Manager, InfoPath Forms services, Sharegate, and Metalogix.
* Programming Languages: Strong experience in object-oriented programming, with a focus on .NET (preferred).
Additional Experience:
* Investigating and documenting procedures in collaboration with user departments.
* Developing and modifying SharePoint sites by capturing requirements, creating site content frameworks, and developing SharePoint web parts.
* Training end users and updating SharePoint tools and objects in response to evolving needs.
* Independent management of maintenance and upgrade activities for assigned SharePoint sites.
* Building and supporting user interfaces that integrate information from various applications via APIs when possible.
