Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manual Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester for our key client.

You will participate in testing efforts and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of software QA methodologies and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This role focuses on ensuring seamless deployment and validation of system enhancements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements

Execute end-to-end test strategies, ensuring alignment with system upgrade objectives and timelines

Perform functional, regression and integration test

Ensure traceability from business requirements to test coverage

Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for improvements

Identify, document and track defects

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met

Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives

Participate in walkthroughs, reviews, and working sessions to understand upgrade impact and communicate quality assurance findings effectively

Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production release validation

**Required Qualifications:**

**Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field**

**5+ years of experience in software functional, regression and integration**
**testing**

**Testing applications or software in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)**

**Database testing and writing SQL queries**

**Test Data management/creation**

**Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies**

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring the highest quality standards

Deep understanding of manual testing methodologies

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Experience in Financial Services

**Calypso knowledge/working experience**
