**Position Overview**

As a QA Engineer and Team Lead at Quore, you will play a critical role in both ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications, mobile applications (iOS and Android), and APIs, as well as leading a small team of QA testers and specialists. In addition to your hands-on responsibilities in manual and automated testing, you will provide coaching and guidance, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement within your team. Your leadership will be key to the success of your team members, helping them grow and perform at their best.

***This role is a hybrid role and will work in-person 2 or more days a week. We kindly ask that only candidates who are willing and able to work in-person at our Franklin, TN office apply for this position.***

**Primary Job Responsibilities:**

* Lead and mentor a small team of QA testers and/or specialists, including delegating work assignments, setting clear expectations, and monitoring progress and performance.
* Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
* Design and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on software requirements and technical specifications.
* Conduct thorough manual testing of our web and mobile applications to identify and document issues.
* Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to support regular regression testing and ensure ongoing product quality.
* Test API integrations and backend services to ensure high performance, reliability, and security.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and the development team to troubleshoot issues, refine test scenarios, and improve system performance.
* Document detailed test results, manage bug tracking, and communicate findings to the development team and other stakeholders.
* Drive continuous improvement in quality assurance standards, processes, and tools, ensuring best practices are followed across the team.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Minimum 4 years’ experience as a QA tester or similar role, with a strong focus on web and mobile applications and APIs.
* Proven experience leading projects or work teams, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and guide team members.
* Expertise in both manual testing and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman).
* Deep knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
* Strong ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
* Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, etc.
* Proficient in SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
* Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems.
* Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.
* Familiarity with multilingual systems and international deployment strategies. Experience with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
* Strong leadership skills, including the ability to build an inclusive and collaborative team culture, effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders, and motivate the team to achieve high standards of performance.
