Job summary: We are a leading Software as a Service (SaaS) company that specializes in the transformation of data in the US healthcare industry through cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. We are in search of a seasoned and forward-thinking Director/Manager – Technology and Product Delivery. This role is pivotal for both technological advancement and driving business impact. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President-AI Product Delivery (Global). Ideal candidate should have proven growth journey from Software developer to leadership in fast-paced IT product companies, should have a strong background in technology, strategy, and AI product delivery to join our dynamic team. This key leadership role is instrumental in driving our technological vision and ensuring that our innovative solutions continue to redefine data quality in the healthcare sector. Your leadership will play a critical role in our mission to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to our healthcare clients.
* Responsibilities:
* Technology and Business Leadership: Provide exceptional leadership that aligns with our business plan and overall strategic vision.
* SaaS Expertise: Leverage your expertise in Software as a Service (SaaS) to drive the development of cutting-edge solutions and services.
* Innovative Problem Solving: Apply your problem-solving skills to address complex issues and provide elegant and efficient solutions, all while considering factors like development time, performance, scalability, extensibility, and maintainability.
* Tech Stack Proficiency: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Java, Python tech stacks, Big Data and utilizing these technologies to develop and enhance our products and systems.
* Innovation Leadership and AI Product Delivery: Lead the delivery of AI-driven products and solutions, ensuring they are at the forefront of the industry. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust technical solutions that address our healthcare SaaS application needs.
* Team Leadership: Manage, mentor and inspire a high-performing team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Performance Optimization: Continuously enhance system performance, scalability, and data processing capabilities to meet evolving healthcare industry demands.
* Healthcare, Security and Compliance: Apply your in-depth knowledge of healthcare and security to ensure that our solutions meet industry standards, compliance requirements, and best practices. Oversee data security, regulatory compliance, and the protection of sensitive healthcare data.
* Strategic Partnerships, Research and Development: Establish and manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors, research institutions, and industry leaders. Lead research and development initiatives to remain on the forefront of AI technology in healthcare.
* Budget and Resource Management: Manage technology budgets, resource allocation, and cost-effective technology investments.
* Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of innovation, efficiency, and excellence in technology and business operations.
* Desired Profile:
* Engineering graduate from a renowned and accredited engineering college or university. Proven growth journey from developer to leadership in fast-paced IT product companies
* Understanding of Technology, Business & Client
* Leadership skills and proven experience setting direction and managing highly accomplished technology and delivery teams
* Experience in Java stack is required.
* Experience of working in a company that builds software products, having led a team of developers and tech leads, creating a product, or a module of a product.
* Hands-on experience (at some point in career) of having been a software developer
* Should have a solid understanding of Application architecture
* Some level of Big data experience, working with structured and non-structure data –
* Some understanding of SaaS products
* Experience of AWS cloud (or Azure), some experience of DevOps
* Experience of having led Engineering teams as an Engineering Manager
* Proven expertise managing details and balancing multiple projects and tasks
* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* It will be an added advantage if you have the following skills:-
* Domain knowledge of Healthcare data
* Some Experience of having created Big data products
* Some Experience in infrastructure, some Experience of AWS/Azure cloud
* Some knowledge and experience of Data Science
