Job Overview

**Volunteer Office Assistant, can support OPT, H1B, Co-ops, Internship.**
**If qualified, can support green-card application in long term.**

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Assistant to support our organization in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer support, be skilled in office management, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

– Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling mail and deliveries.
– Manage our calendar and schedule appointments, meetings, and events.
– Assist with tasks related to reception, such as greeting visitors, answering questions, and providing information.
– Offer exceptional customer service to visitors, patients, or clients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
– Utilize phone systems to make and receive calls, as well as maintain accurate records of communication.
– Assist with data entry, typing, and other clerical duties as needed.
– Support with other administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.

Requirements

– Experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
– Proven experience as a personal assistant or in a role that requires strong organizational skills.
– Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency with phone systems and calendar management software.
– Excellent typing skills and experience with typing and other clerical duties.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus.
– Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
– Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with visitors, patients, and colleagues.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $1.00 – $2.00 per day
